Widewater Volunteer Fire & Rescue, Stafford, Virginia Christmas Aop Christmas Ugly Sweater 3D

Every Christmas, the Widewater Volunteer Fire & Rescue in Stafford Virginia host an annual Christmas event to benefit their department. At the event, they have a bake sale, craft fair, chance to take a ride on the fire truck, and the most popular- the Christmas Ugly Sweater 3D competition. Families and friends come out to take part in the unique and festive competition, which requires participants to wear their ugliest Christmas sweater, which is then 3D-ified with holiday decorations and creative additions. At the end of the night, there’s an awards ceremony to recognize the top sweaters, allowing participants to truly show off their creative skills. The proceeds of the event go to help the department purchase new and updated equipment for the safety and well-being of their brave firefighters. It’s a fun and festive way to give back to the community.
